The starter and example are shared. Customize your own content and presentation; generated puzzles are not guaranteed exclusive.

What the 200-puzzle starter contains

The starter has Easy, Medium, Hard and Expert sections, with 50 puzzles in each. It uses 9 × 9 grids, four puzzles per puzzle page, section dividers and a separate solutions section. Front matter, dividers and answers explain why the final book has more than 50 pages.

Difficulty and unique solutions are different checks

The generator checks Sudoku puzzles for one solution. The difficulty presets use generation settings and clue-count targets; they are not a human-tested certification of solving techniques. Try sample puzzles from each section before describing a book as suitable for beginners or experts.

A unique solution means one valid answer to a puzzle. It does not mean a generated puzzle is exclusive to you. The public starter is shared by everyone who opens it.

Choose density for the person solving the book

Four puzzles per 6 × 9-inch page makes a compact collection. It may leave too little room for some readers' pencil marks. Inspect the PDF at actual size, print a test page and compare a lower-density layout or larger trim before deciding.

Make your own Sudoku collection

  1. Open the starter and set the printed title and author in Book settings.
  2. Review the four sections. Adjust their puzzles, difficulty settings and puzzles per page to match your intended reader.
  3. Export the watermarked proof. Match puzzle numbers to the answer section and inspect the writing space.
  4. Save a project backup. If purchasing Pro, export clean files and review your final interior and cover with the publishing service.

Can I make just one Sudoku for free?

Yes. The single Sudoku maker is a better starting point for one printable activity. This book workflow is for assembling and revising a collection.

What changes when I buy Pro?

You can build and inspect a watermarked interior proof free. Pro unlocks clean book exports and commercial use under the licence terms. PuzzleBindery takes no per-book royalty; marketplace fees, printing costs and applicable taxes remain separate. Buying a licence does not guarantee publishing acceptance or sales.

For print publishing, check the final interior, cover and page count together. Use the page-count calculator for planning and the cover calculator for dimensions, then inspect the actual final files.

Evaluate your own proof first

Open the starter, make a change and export the proof before deciding about the licence.
